Sterling Hills Golf Club
Sterling Hills Golf Course is a hidden jewel, tucked in among Ventura County’s fertile fields of Camarillo, California, just half-way between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Lush avocado and citrus groves give way to the 18-hole championship course, designed by Robert Muir Graves and Damian Pascuzzo. The course architects took advantage of the strong natural features of the area, with the sculpture of the course mirroring the beautiful topography. The golf course features an excellent practice range, chipping area, and putting green. Golfers of all abilities will appreciate the four sets of tees and finely manicured features of the course.
Sterling Hills is located off the 101 freeway in Camarillo.

I played here on a weekend in December. We started at 12:30. Play was unbearably slow and the marshalls weren’t doing anything about it. Our cart got slower and slower throughout the day until it died on hole 16 in the dark.
The course was nice until it got dark, but seriously, what a joke. I’ll stick to the other courses in the area. They have working golf carts and it doesn’t take 6 hours for a round.
Our high school golf team played tournaments here all the time. The greens are quick and the course is well maintained.
This is a great course. The play can be slow on weekends, but weekday afternoons it’s wide open and they dno’t make you take a cart.
